About the AMHQ Shop

This website has been created to support the hobby of collecting Action Man. We aim to add recreated stickers and products that will assist in your restoration and enjoyment of the hobby. These new products will be added from time to time so keep checking back. It is 100% unofficial, but centered around keeping the Action Man phenomena alive.

About our Action Man Stickers and Decals

Our stickers are re-artworked where possible, or rescanned to closely match the original vintage stickers. The stickers are not officially available elsewhere, so fill a gap in the market.

These are from my personal collection I have amassed from years of boot fairs, action man events and loft finds. Some of these from time to time I sell on to help fund the shop and the ever-growing www.ActionManHQ.co.uk website's hosting costs.

Action Man repro sticker and badge application tips

FABRIC BADGES: Fabric is on a self adhesive carrier paper that can be separated from the fabric after cutting out. We recommend a fresh blade as we have found this gets the best results. Straight cuts are best performed with a quality knife (such as a scalpel) and metal ruler. Curves are better with a good pair of dressmaking scissors. The inks are pigment (not water based) and fade resistant, but not waterproof.

PAPER STICKERS : We recommend a fresh blade on a cutting mat as we have found this generally gets the best results. Straight cuts are best performed with a quality knife (such as a scalpel) and metal ruler. Curves can be performed with a knife, but are sometimes better with a good pair of scissors. Getting the back off these stickers can be tricky at these smaller sizes, but gently tease a knife blade between the sticker and backing, or try with your nail / gentle bending action.

In case you make a mistake most of our decals are sent out with spares.
